I wouldn't even put Sutter in the same stratosphere as Q. LA had tonnes of talent. Sutter just stifles most of it. That 1st Cup winning team only made the playoffs with luck on the last weekend. A superstar goalie on a hot streak sure makes coaches look amazing too.
