I would hope so. They gave up quite a bit to get him. It's a big investment.

Can't wait to see Buffalo hoist Ottawa in the preseason, right over their heads. Do you proof read your blogs? Maybe you should have a peer check your work. I enjoy your ramblings to an extent. However it's hard to take anything you say seriously when you provide such unintentional word play.

Garth you need to move on from Grigerenko just as the Sabres will. He thinks too much of himself and over values his talent. TM wants players who will work hard and put in the effort for their ice time and not have it handed to them, he is of the latter. He was mishandled and it is time for a change in scenery, either in another NHL city or in the KHL. Buffalo is not going to be a place for primadonnas and this type of attitude will serve no good on a team with young talent. Hopeful that Zhadorov does not go down the same path.

That was not a "good" read. Good story. Terrible read. I seriously hope not all Buffalo fans are that illiterate.

Looking beyond the obvious doesn't make us illiterate. Harping on it constantly makes it redundant.

In 2-3 years, Kane and Eichel will be dominant together.

Now if they can get another young, equally talented forward for Reinhart, this thing could be pretty scary in a few years. It's not hard to see where the excitement comes from.

Then add Bogosian, Ristolainen, Zadorov, Pysyk and McCabe on the back end?
