I don't think he's the perfect compliment to Eichel, that's the whole thing. I'd rather have a guy like ROR who the coach can say go out and make Crosby's life miserable (talking playoffs) while still adding offense then a guy like Reinhart who can't. This is about playoffs and winning big now, I'd rather go to war with guys like ROR than Sam.

Don't get me wrong, I think Reinhart will have a good NHL career, I'm not trying to bash him....just the type of player I'd prefer is ROR.

Your best will play against the other teams best. It will happen, nobody should worry about it possibly happening, cause it WILL happen.

we would extend him, have zero worry about that. And IDC where a player gets drafted, I care about how good he is.

Jeremy White said paying ROR 8-10 million would be okay cause he's worth it.

Here's what I don't like. You're trading your top selection from last years draft for a player with 1 year left on his deal. You would have to pay him whatever he wanted in his next contract or you would have lost your top selection for a 1 year rental. Given how ROR and his contract negotiations have went, he could feasibly ask for $8, $9, or even $10 million and you would have to pay him, or risk losing him.
