They're trading Reinhart, along with Zads; and next year they'll be trading Eichel.
- sippyd

interesting .

I didn't miss much then.

Maybe the Angola locale, Goose. The Ontario Street has always been on time for us. Excellent food all around. Love the wings too.

It's always ridiculously busy, but it's probably got something to do with the time of year that we go.

Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney has at least two serious offers for the 3rd overall pick that he is considering.
The 1st offer would see him move down to another top ten pick in this years draft.
The 2nd offer involves a young prospect that is so good that the Coyotes would not get a draft pick in return at all.

Bye Reinhart we hardly knew ye

- GilPerreault11

What other prospect would fit that description beside reinhart? I mean maybe Arizona wants the domi reinhart duclaire line. We take hanafin at 3 and trade zads and 21 for ror. Murray would really put his stamp on the franchise coming off with eichel, hanafin, and ror

Could be if Arizona really likes him. Trying to think of other teams that would :

a) be interested
b) have that prospect

Leafs maybe?

- Sabresfan-365

I think it can only be the sabres or oilers. You have to look at a 3rd thing, who would be interested, who has the prospect, and who has a pick they wouldnt want to move in the deal.

I could see Draistel for the 3rd, and they take Hannafin.

I would hate that anyone but him for the third pick and I'm fine
and I'm probably the biggest Mitchell fan here

- gerbe75pts

If we move reinhart for the 3rd, I hope we take either hannafin or strome.

Agreed Gizmo. Samson will be good on the Sabres. I don't want to trade him.

(frank) !! we kept Timmy C here for way too long hoping and now we are trading away a VERY good player before he even plays a full season.

I sure hope they don't trade Reinhart. I would be very disappointed.

Thank you for your input gerbe 75 pts

As was stated perviously maybe Reinhart and Domi is enticing to Arizona. What other prospect, young player would be worth the 3rd overall?

It is probably a 22-23 year old already established player

so we finally have a one-two punch and we're okay with trading a center who I might add was the second pick in the draft and the best forward in the draft..but what the hell let's trade him away

I dont think its a downgrade, If reinhart was in this draft, he would be going 5th or 6th.

Since the talk of trading Reinhart was the motif of most of the day I would offer him for pick 3, 4 or 5 for Marner, Ivan Provorov or Hanifin if one of those teams was willing to swap straight up.

I would then have no problem trading 21, Zads, + for ROR if they picked Provorov or Hanifin but they had better talk to his agent and get a deal in principle set before they consumate the deal.
- GilPerreault11

I posted that earlier before I saw this. ROR!!! becomes our better 2nd center, Provorov or Hanifin are better than Zads. The Sabres are a better team.

The offer is probably not Reinhart for the 3rd so you can relax but it wouldn't be bad if it was and was accepted.

You are placing Reinhart's ability solely based on his draft spot. Not every draft is as strong as each other as this year shows.

As far as pure value goes, Reinhart for 3rd overall is probably a fair price for both sides. However, given what Buffalo is going to get at #2 and what the team's needs are, Reinhart does far more for the Sabres than #3 overall does right now. Trading Reinhart plus for #3 sets this team back.

Question becomes do you take marner who will likely be a winger in the nhl? He may be more skilled but he would be playing a less valuable position or do you take strome who will likey take 2 years more of development to find out if he can be a better center in the nhl than Sam reinhart. I wouldn't do it because it would set us back in the short term and potentially not be an upgrade
