I dont get the trade talks...when was the last time this franchise had a elite center? Weve been in need for a long time.. now we have potentially have 2 and we want to get rid of one for a winger? |

The idea would be that Reinharts ceiling isn't that. |

Trading Reinhart is asinine IMO. He's played 9 NHL games and was the 2nd overall pick.
Unless you are getting a bonafide star #1 defensemen, I don't see why you trade him. And Noah Hanifin isn't a star yet - sbroads24
but if you can trade him for the 3rd overall pick in a better draft class you pull the trigger. |

I think he can be a top line guy if he improves his skating. Best part is with Eichel coming he doesn't need even need to be that. He can quietly work on improving his game and doing the little things that make him so good while eichel takes on the spotlight. However, not everyone will share this view and I don't blame them. His last stint with the team was less than stellar so he's going to have to win a lot of people over.
Edit: People weren't too fond of that draft class either, which is noteworthy since a lot of times the draft/prospect writers will find anything or anyway to pump up a draft class. |

Sometimes Murray's willingness to overpay for players worries me, but overall you just have to trust he knows what he's doing. |

I agree so why trade him for a decent 8mil winger?... his last stint though? Can he really be judged by that? He is a perfect second line center on a great team.
