I mostly meant the actual "hosts" of the shows. But yes, Hamilton is probably full time as well. I would assume John Murphy is as well, though during hockey season his show isn't on very much with all the Sabres games bumping him from his slot. |

I'd like him to take 19. That number needs a fresh take.
With Reinhart taking 23 and Eichel taking 19, the blood can be washed from the jersey. - TheSabresTaco
So far, it looks unavailable. How long does Murray have to make a decision on a buyout for Hodgson? Because even though he said it's a possibility, if it was something he really was going to do, I feel like he would have done it by now. |

I saw something about that, but I refused to actually read it. What number did he say was best? Just so I know he was wrong when Eichel picks something else. - HonkFortheGoose
I actually don't think Coller or Schopp are stupid, I just think they are very hypocritical.
Everything is numbers based until it involves someone they like.
Just remember, "Moulson and Myers for Callahan?"
In what analytical world would that have made sense? |

I see your logic but there's always an anomaly. Boston won a Cup without an elite Center.
That said, I tend to agree with you. I don't see Sam's ceiling as an elite #1 Center. But he may be a perfect #2 Center. Which is fine as long as Eichel works out as projected. |

How did all the ROR trade talk start, anyway? Seems like all speculation and not based on anything TM has said about him specifically...and the most nonsensical part is we already have a ROR-type player who is , at 21 (?) years old already the heart and soul of the team. Does any team thrive with TWO 3rd line defense-first centers? Why pay 7 mil. for that guy? It's so ridiculous to give up Reinhart, Zadorov, #21 or anything remotely close to these assets for a player we already have!
And we don't have the luxury of bailing out on a 6'6" teenage d-man who loves to hit when our pipeline on defense has few prospects after McCabe and Weedy. Just ludicrous. I believe TM is not so dumb as to trade Reinhart or Zads unless the haul is phenomenal....not for ROR, not to pick in the top ten, and not for the second coming of Martin Brodeur.
Until Friday, let's talk only about chicken wings, golf, nuns, beer, squirrels, zombies, tv shows, ....anything other than mortgaging our future to get a 7 million $ 3rd-line center, please! |

I brought this one up yesterday due to SabresInsider#CONFIRMED whatever. I think the reason it hasn't happened yet is because there's a chance he has a limited market with a return in the range of a 3rd round pick. Murray has until 6/30 to make a decision, so he's likely still trying..really hard.. to trade him. Just the fact that he mentioned that it's a possibility either makes it certain or gives Cody a little much needed motivation to improve his bullpoop. |

They weren't elite in that sense of the world, but make no mistake, both Krecji and Bergeron were elite skaters. |

Recently, read back a page or 10. Schopp and Bulldog poisoned this thread. Originally, because some of our posters with inside sources, coinciding with MSM sources say TM likes ROR. It's unfortunate, so I think some of us are just hoping he gets signed long term so we can start beating another horse to death. |

I don't hate the idea of having him on the team this year like some others around here, but I don't hate the idea of buying him out either.
I do think he was a victim of the poor coaching we had last year though. Not sure what happened during Nolan's first season back behind the bench and last year, but there was some sort of an issue between him and Cody and it was very apparent.
I think if he's on the team this year you can get his game turned back around a bit and get some sort of return (even if it is marginal). I don't see space for him on the team long term, but I do think he could be useful this year.
