He is the textbook definition of having a ton of fantasy hockey value and little real world value. He only has value to the Caps, wonder if you took away PP points away what it would look like. Oh you pass and get passes from OV and Backstrom awesome. - hubie
he was still a plus 15 last season so he can't be that bad 5 on 5 |

I basically won't go there unless its a band I absolutely can't miss. I've had a few bad experiences there. - Buffalo--Sabres
I dont go nearly as much as when it was free. Partially because most of the bands they still book every year i have seen when it was free.
sts9, deep purple, and grace potter are three that i defenitely plan on attending. I generally count on the shows being good when i go, otherwise i get too drunk to drive home

Maybe it's just me, but paying the ridiculous amount of money they charge for beer at any of these events is what keeps me from getting drunk. I just cannot justify paying that much for more than 1 or 2 while I'm there. |

Anyone make it to artpark yet this year? I have heard about traffic problems, and specifically from people who said they "left ample time to get there"
I forgot about widespread panic, so i havent been out there yet this season. There is a handful of shows i still plan on attending though. From my personal experience if you leave anytime after 4:30 coming from the buffalo area you will be sitting in traffic. especially if its a popular show.
Im just wondering if there is alot of construction out that way, i know RMP is being taken down. Or is it people who "left ample time" really have no idea how getting to artpark for a popular show without hassle is accomplished. - ieetbred
I was there for dinner last night and the traffic going the other way when I left was incredible.

If George Smith is still alive (that's a big if) he could reduce Henry to a quivering gelatinous mound. |

Which is why you bring a flask
I do agree though, $8 beers were alot easier to buy when the show was free |

Yep i heard lots of bad things about traffic, people who went to see cheap trick missed most if not all of their set i hear.
I think its their fault.. or they get out of work too late to avoid traffic. |

Doesn't work for me. Beer is pretty much the only thing that doesn't give me terrible heartburn. |

Before or after they started staking that highway out day and night?
Worst one i had coming home from artpark.. huge traffic getting onto the grand island bridge and i seen lights a mile or two ahead, to which i thought was a checkpoint..
Needless to say i was sweatin that one out untill i realized it was not in fact a checkpoint. |

So I haven't been out to party in Buffalo since 2002 or 2003.... Which clubs do I need to check out? What bars are good? Are there any "underground" rave-ish places? |

I only have plans to go to 1 show there this year. That's pretty much my limit. By the time I get home and everything it makes the following day a pretty long one at work. |
