As much as Looch has been my fave Bruin for years, it was time for him to go... too much baggage. Trading for these picks MUST mean they are looking at trading up for Hanafin.

LA gave up a B-prospect, a goalie they couldn't afford to sign and a good draft pick for lucic @ $3.3M.

I'm shocked by this. they just missed the playoffs and they could have tried to unload Chara, Krecji. There has to be more to this. Sweeny is defnitely making a statement today that's for sure.
