Tank for 3 years of Matthews before we trade him.
- dothedougie

I'm getting depressed again.

And thats what really gets me. There's no relief in sight! Even if we draft someone worth while, we know they're going to be bullied out of town when their ELCs expires.

And forget trading. This team forgot how to do that apparently.

So to summarize: Dump everyone after their ELC and give all our 3rd and 4th liners NMC's and foolish contracts

Wonder if they are working on Kelly's extension and waiting for Spooner, Connolly and Jones to get offer sheeted.

Friday totally sucked the hockey life and energy out of me. So instead of responding to this with any sort of hockey insight, I submit a picture of an old man fashioning a canoe out of a log.

I think the question nagging us all, however, is: Will DotheDougie now change his hockeybuzz profile name?

...or has he converted to buddaism and is now in a monastary in Tibet?

I converted to Neelyism and am currently a human resource manager that low-balls excellent employees and subsequently retains the highest turnover rate of any company in the world.

Make sure its cheap, old fashioned and really poorly made alcohol so it matches Neely's vision of this franchise.

Only an idiot would make a username the name of an unproven player without a long term contract.

WAIT A MINUTE FOLKS!

We don't trade all of our RFA!

We sign the really good ones like Reilly Smith for 2 years and $3.5 million per!

Krug took a ONE YEAR PROVE IT CONTRACT at $3.5..........gotta think if he improves he will be traded too!
(Although he was overrated with Dougie on the PP, we kinda need him now.)

I have a personalized Bruins jersey i had made up. My last name happens to be Thomas. I had it made before Timmy was on the team. freaks people out when they see a Thomas jersey with number 55 on it.

I also have a Neely jersey i scored at a flea market on cape cod. It was a choice between that and a Marchand jersey. I ALMOST bought a winter classic Lucic jersey a few years back. Glad i didn't.

Axelsson's rookie year; was that when he wore number 57 or something like that? That's pretty awesome.

And FYI on the Hamilton is a "loner" and "uppity" comments.

I have heard Bean, and Haggertty and a bunch of other writer say that is was the kinda everyday family pain in the ass stuff that always happens in locker rooms and that it has nothing to do with why he was traded.

Some guys said he was polite, humble, smart, sincere and that he is they type of player you wished you had 20 of on your team.

FYI.

What I got out of it was "Neely made an offer, it was refused, so we traded him". The attacks on his personal character are complete ludicrous.

Hey I know. As soon as the first comments came out I was rolling my eyes saying, "Not this sh** again."

What is it with these Boston sports teams trying to completely manipulate the "true" fans?

It does work, just like it did in USSR, Venezuela or Cuban, propaganda on morons always works.

But the guys with, " I would rather have McQuaid play as the 2-3 D-man over Hamilton. He is much safer and makes less mistakes."

Maybe Sweeney is a HUGE Genius...........but keeping Chara and Kelly? Then Krejci and Ericksson?

I think the Bs brass is 100% riding on Chara returning to TOP THREE in the Norris voting.
AND
Riding that Seidenberg being Chara's 1B D-man like it was a few years ago.

Maybe they are right............I just have a hard time thinking they stay healthy.
