I would say it's both cap space and real dollars. The Kings wanted the cap space heading into free agency, which makes the timing and rush suspicious.

This is the only time the COULD have done it. They had to do it before the bought him out. That's why I think the Kings lose in the long run.

Generally, if you have enough of a substance on your person to warrant that charge, you get charged. If a cop stops a guy with a pound of weed, he's getting charged in all likelihood.

I think that the Kings might regret this, if all it is was Richards being questioned about having oxy, but not being charged.

That's why I said that -- you know I really believe in Braydon Coburn, but he was hurt a lot and not overly effective a bit too often when he did play
