that's pretty bad, I don't quite remember that either. i do remember lindros having ties to merlino.
- JoeRussomanno

You mean you remember Merlino's sisters sitting in Eric's seats once? That's not exactly ties to organized crime.

It's like Hartnell having one drink one night with Parveen in the Red Owl after a charity event and that being reported over and over and over again (one occassion, dozens of blogs) and people turning that into them dating.

Consumption of media...there should be a required class.

Good news is Richards was picked up on the Mexican side of the boarder so any cap ramifications are in pesos.
- hereticpride

The Mexican side of the Canadian border? The investigation is by the RCMP.

You can suspend the player, and force him to either get it taken care of, or suffer the consequences. If a player had a pain killer addiction from playing hockey, the goal should be to get that straightened out, not to get out of the contract. There are programs for issues like this. There isn't any evidence of that being attempted before a termination, that I'm aware of.

I agree with other that say the optics are that Voynov, who has been arrested and charged with a crime, has only been suspended. He's still a good player, while Richards, who to my knowledge has not been charged with anything, has had his contract terminated, and is not considered a player worthy of his contract anymore.

And Stoll is up to his eyeballs in drugs, too.

That's quite an outfit they're running in LA.

EXACTLY

How the hell do the Kings get to spend that cash?

That is straight-up BS -- I cannot believe other teams aren't howling about this

- AllInForFlyers

Some of them probably have guys they'd like to terminate, too.

According to the reports I've seen, it was oxycodine.
- MJL

Oxycodine isn't a thing.

Maybe oxycodone?

You can continue to focus on mundane and irrelevant issues such as spelling, or focus on the actual content. It's your choice, but it's obvious why the tact you've chosen is taken.

I didn't attempt to make any point except to post what was written in the reports that I read. I did not attempt in any way to show knowledge of drugs, as if I was a pharmacist or a doctor. Realizing that they are one and the same, really isn't important.

I think the big question is, which border does Canada share with Sea Isle?
