Brad Richardson to Arizona. Guess that means Vinny isn't going there.
- MikesPillBottle

Nah, they're getting Vinny and MSL, too.

Have to have a capable guy in case Mason goes down. Neuvirth will probably play 20 games minimum next season.
- PLindbergh31

Hard to realize they now have some cap space to work with and are not to the bone on every signing. Remember the college player they signed on D for the last game of the season a couple of years ago when they were injured, out and maxd out with contracts/call ups

I think that's his way of saying, we are not doing a mutual termination.
- ManCity

Or he asked around and realized there isn't a team in the NHL that wants his client.

I see the opposite, if the Flyers don't give him playing time then what?

Flyers have signed goalie Michal Neuvirth to two-year deal, $1.5 M in Year 1 and $1.75 million in Year 2

Flyers hold the cards on this.

Vinny is reaching the end of his career. Does he want to be a healthy scratch for the next 4 years, or does he want a chance to a fresh start on a new team?

I think he's simply keeping the status quo. Saying anything, one way or the other, may run some teams the wrong way.

Look at their 1st line wingers, 2nd line wingers, 3rd line, 4th line, and their dmen.

Outside of Crosby and Malkin, not a lot going on for the Pens.

Has to be a ton of money going back to Toronto. This better not be for group of poopbag prospects.
