Don't want Oshie – especially if it costs Brayden Schenn. Schenn still has upside/potential to be a more effective top end forward IMO.

Just curious but if MacDonald was a FA this season would he get 5 mil a year?

I thought that was the reason we paid him that because we gave him a FA contract.

I doubt it. I doubt he would have gotten it when he was heading into free agency, TBH. Since that deal has been signed we've seen guys who are better sign for similar AAV and term, or even less AAV and term.
