It sounds like they prefer to move Draisaitl to wing for now. Seems like they wanted him before for Perron so maybe they're just that team that over values Sutter. I don't see a match though.

Sutter is very vocal during games and in the locker room. Remember he used to have an "A" on his chest while in Carolina. Nothing wrong about Edmonton wanting to trade for him. Perfect fit IMO.

If they truely want Sutter, send them Pouliot and Sutter for Yakupov and Schultz. Thats not a bad trade for either team, Pouliot and Nurse would make a fine top line for the future.

I don't like that trade at all. Schultz is not a top 4 dman on any competitive team. Yakupov has been somewhat disappointing so far. I wouldn't trade Pouliot in that package. Sutter for Schultz straight up is no problem.

Anythings possible. However, as much as I worry about Ruth doing something dumb, I recognize the real culprit for the poor shape of the team is Shero.

So far I like Ruth's drafts. Sprong and Kappy are infinitely better than any forward Shero ever drafted sans Staal. I liked (for the most part) what Ruth did in FA last year.

If he manages to bring in these Russians for free and makes a nice move for a top 6 wing he'll be hero.

I wouldn't want the Pens to send an offer sheet for Miller. No 2nd rounder so it would have to be $3.3m+/yr. and I wouldn't want to give up a 1st and 3rd for JT Miller. I hope he doesn't sign Williams unless he is taking a 1/2 year deal and I really doubt Williams does that.
