He doesn't have to be "the guy". Columbus has a bunch of talented, young forwards with Johansen leading the way.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Yak but I highly doubt he is on the trade block. Edmonton was praising his growth by the end of the year. Even they know his value is much higher than Sutter. Unless they believe Sutter, Pouliot, and a pick is coming their way I don't see them trading him.

They could easily grab a rugged third line center tomorrow. Or they can contact St.Louis about the rumored Oshie and Shattenkirk.

Pouliot is the Pens best prospect and it isn't even close. The only young player more valuable is Maatta, and he's not being moved, seen as long term top pairing guy. Creates a bigger hole by trading him.

TOR and PIT are clearly playing chicken, but I agree, Pens probably go another route. I don't think Toronto is getting what they want this off-season.
