I really see Bergevin trying to acquire Staal at the deadline.
He's attempted a big move every year at the deadline and it's the right time for the deal. If it pans out, then re-sign him instead of Plekanec. Or even better, find a taker for Desharnais and re-sign both. If not, let him walk and re-sign the guys that are there.

im starting to think that we would be better off with Eller/Plekanec/DLR than DD/Plekanec/Eller.

That guy stinks!!!

Let's package him with a 2nd round pick to get a solid 30 goals winger!

i would be happy to see him traded for a player that doesn't even exist

When I said 30 goals scoring winger, I meant career overall.

I feel quite certain about that. If DD is too small and poopty to get anything done, at least have someone bigger who can hopefully make some room for their wingers

what do you think made Brian Flynn expendable? i mean, aside from the fact that he (frank)ing sucks.

you can never have too many faceoff specialists.

doesn't matter what they do once they win the faceoff but as long as they win it.

Is future considerations still acceptable under this CBA?

yep. it's why Manny Malhotra hasn't signed a long term extension yet... he knows he's got the team bent over a barrel. and that's why PAP was bought out.

all those terms are so (frank)ing annoying

When all you talk about a player is his faceoff wins or the fact he can kill a penalty, it means that (frank)ing player sucks.

C'est probablement dans le même temps que Richard Labbé avait fait une analogie pour Jean-Charles

I have to give credit to Marinaro, he had a good one too.

he was arguing with Jean-CHarles and then he breaks out "La difference entre toi pis moi Jean-Charles c'est que dans mon cell phone j'ai le numero du directeur gerant, toi t'as le numero de Pizza Hut"
