BTW, Canada was very impressive in the pool yesterday. Even the Americans were shocked at just how good they were.

Funny how fans that hate Therrien say that the Habs are a dump and chase team while stats say otherwise.
- WaterBoy

You know what I hate, anyone that criticizes Therrien is apparently a hater. I don't hate Therrien at all; I think if you broke up the Habs play into three zones, He is one of the best for strategies and implementation in two of them. I just wish that they could dabble a bit more in the offensive zone to find a better way to utilize the talent that they do have.

My only other beef and its much more minor is that I wish he would let lines stick together a tad longer to attempt to gain some chemistry. If a line is a complete failure then do change it, but if they have one bad shift in any game he often juggles players immediately.

Kesler deal will go down as one of the worst deals in history.

Right after Clarkson and Gololomez.

- yemrots

Dunno about that, but it's pretty ugly.

That's a big chunk of cap space on a guy whose best days are behind him.

Just saying that stats prove otherwise when it comes to the Habs and dump and chase.

Last playoffs against TB, OMG look at how Habs are dumpin' and chasin' and look at all those zone entrie by tampa.

Numbers had the Habs at like 52% + in entry zones vs tampa...

Clearly the better pitcher. But i repeated.

They best pitcher i ever faced was Pierre-Alexandra Valiquette a lefty who threw 95 never understood how he hasn't made it to the MLB. Faced Phillipe Aumont when he was with les ailes du quebec but got a 4 pitch walk he walked everybody he was all over the place

(frank) man....he'll be 32 when it kicks in.

And he plays a hard game....his game will be going downhill right when the extension kicks in.

- yemrots

yeah but they're going all in now... next 2-3 years. Getlaf and Perry are same age so when they crash, they're gonna crash hard.

I agree, in the playoffs they did less dump and chase. I figured it would be less than 48% even. I just think it should be closer to 10-20% of the time, mostly coming from situations in which they may have a lead, preferably a two goal lead.
