I will break this down very clearly for you.
I believed that the salaries being handed out are getting increasingly ridiculous for mediocre players. Holtby demanding 8 million triggered me to muse that a lockout is incoming in 2 years if players like Holtby get 8 million.
Then yall got on my balls and talked about how with revenue sharing a lockout will never happen and asked me to explain how could a lockout possibly happen.
So I described how I think a lockout could happen if the current trend of poopty players getting big money continues despite there being a salary cap, although I note that this past year hasn't been that bad in terms of ridiculous contracts being handed out. - twiztedmike
you realize that there is a CBA in place for another 7 years right? you're also living on another planet if you think Holtby is not one of the top goalies in the NHL. you talk about mediocre players getting huge money while at the same time mentioning that mediocre players cannot even sign contracts this summer. if you don't see how the current CBA has helped alleviate the issue of mid-aged mediocre players get big contracts, give Cody Franson a call and get his thoughts on the issue.

Lars Eller is the perfect mixture of skill and grit who, at the tender age of 25, has already developed into a reliable centreman that can contribute on both ends of the ice and continues to show signs of improvement in his offensive and defensive contribution.

Can't believe it. Team needs to get more top six forwards and stop relying on goaltending only to make it through the playoffs. Lazy (frank)ing GM needs to get off his ass and stop buying suits. |

It's so bad that the Canes signed two players yesterday and didn't even bother announcing it. |

yes i would like to know how he feels about the fact that his goalie will be pretty much solely responsible for the 2017 NHL lockout. |
