I know he wants more money to contribute to Cote D'Ivoire's soccer for youth program thing he's big into, but he's done. Watching his final season for Chelsea was painful. Then again...it's MLS |

For a third line centreman, Mr. Eller has an impressive set of offensive skills that he
showcases on a nightly basis and in different capacities. For instance, Mr. Eller has a special ability to register points on both special teams units. Except for the shortened 2012-2013 season, Mr. Eller has registered both powerplay and shorthanded goals and assists in his three seasons with the Canadiens.

"Our purpose, in initiating the expansion process in the manner we did, was not only to explore the possibility of admitting new members to the NHL but also, at the outset, to set realistic guideposts to distinguish between bona fide expressions of interest (i.e., those which have at least substantial ownership capabilities and an arena or the realistic possibility of an arena) from those indications of potential interest which were, at best, merely hopes or aspirations. Apparently, only Mr. Foley and Quebecor have the confidence in their ability to secure an arena and suitable ownership capability to move forward with this process.

Outside of Giovinco, they're really doing nothing to dissuade the notion that they're anything more than a league where players go to retire. |

that's actually progress though. a few years ago he likes of Gerrard, Lampard, Cahill, Keane, etc. would never have gone to MLS. |

yep.
there are still some things that would need to change to attract top players in their prime but that will take a while. but still the league is doing well and growing.

It would be semi-impressive if they weren't all 40 years old getting a last pay cheque based on their name. Look at Dafoe Only guy in his prime to show up and he got the (frank) out of there asap. |
