He'll step up this season. People may not realize it but he's always been a leader and a contributor on the teams he's played on. I expect that he'll come to camp in the best shape of his life and end up surprising us. I'm higher on him than I am on Sven. Vey has always been a 200 ft player with decent offensive skills. Guys like that are more likely to stick compared to a middling offensive guy who doesn't understand defensive play.

I wonder how hard Sven is working this offseason? Last I heard of him, he was in Vancouver working out with the training staff.
