This just in,
Leads sign Stan Makita as Makita-related specialist coach.
and Jane Fonda as 'get-in-touch with your feminine-side' coach
purchase a 1983 Bayliner Sidecoach
add the ghosts of Pat Burns and Pat Quinn as super-natural specialists,
hire, Martha Bowman, no relation to Scotty and Son, but just wanted a Bowman-related coach that could possibly be related to a real Bowman,
add Marco Rubio as Republican Minority specialist coach,
and Hanna Montana as a "Best of Both Worlds" Coach,
and Shoeless Joe Jackson as a specialist in dead non-fiction biographers. |

In response(quotes aren't working):
Sure it sometimes takes awhile, but is it really that much different than the team spinning its wheels in mediocrity, exiting the first round and barely missing the playoffs, for the same amount of time? It's almost impossible to do that AND get top level talent without getting lucky in the draft. For every Tarasenko selected towards the end of the round there are 4 guys in the top 5 who become impact players |

They are special indeed. Did you get a one day ban for calling him a myth? |

It'll be especially interesting to see which players step up to represent their countries with national pride on the line. -CS
I wonder about the $$$. These will essentially be all-star teams. How much would tickets cost? Who's getting paid? Hopefully a charity will get a big chunk.
Don't mind players being paid some, but is this a fun or revenue sort of event? |

He is 18. If you aren't eligible to play following the draft then you aren't draft eligible. |

from the last board buffalo fan..
teams who go "full tanktard" don't necessarily make it back in any kind of reasonable timeframe...
the coilers are the worst offender in that bunch... the leafs have been tanking for years but just didn't realize it....
the isles took a seriously long time due to management issues..
it's not always about the players chosen in the early first round picks, management can screw things up and extend the timeline by making bad decisions (edmonton) or bad drafting so there's no depth... - kaptaan
Ahh The Unintentional Tank. In a lot of ways it reminds me of the Upper Decker. |

He really does remind me of Cloutier......and the end of the Esplen era. It still boggles my mind that people were choked when he was booted from here. |

Honestly I would be laughing at your brutally obvious tank more if there wasn't Jack Eichel in the mix. It would have been hilarious to suck so bad and still lose the #1 pick if there were not two great players available.
I think Eichel will be phenomenal. Its just funny how Buffalo in many ways has always had to embrace the suck-- They tried to lose their way to the #1 pick and still failed.
I mean really... when you think about it-- It's pretty phucking impressive.

I don't think it boggles my mind so much as it disappoints me. This fanbase demands a winner yet loves it's obvious losers.

After years and years of following and spending my money on this team I'm still not sure what this fanbase is. IMO, they're still just the benefactor of being the hottest ticket in town most nights. |

While I think itll be great on paper to see some of those players in the bure over 45 league I also dont think itll be a success. Maybe initially therell be a lot of interest but people are remembering players in their prime with things to play for like the cup, season stats, contracts. Guys that havent played in years, not in game shape with nothing to play for other than novelty isnt going to be entertaining.
Id say watching these guys these days will be a supreme disappointment and flop. Dont see it working. |

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Is this news that we aren't privy to ? He's attending NCAA, the same way many NHL players do/did including Kesler, Schneider etc. |

I was 14 when they made the magical run to the cup in 94, since then I have been fan and supporter of this team.
I have watched almost every game since the west coast express days.
Through thick and thin I support this team whether I agree with the decisions or not.
I remember how nobody thought that the twins would amount to much, but they have.
I hope that the ,moves Linden and Benning are making work out, but I will still support them if they don't.
Thats me and why I am part of this fanbase. I hate it when they have a down year and everyone jumps off of the bandwagon and hopes for a tank. I just hope that they try to make the playoffs every year. |

He will still be playing hockey this year though so even if he doesn't turn pro he will be playing at a high level, less games though. |
