He's past his prime himself; wouldn't expect much out of him in the NHL.

Agreed, past his prime and playing in a lower tiered league. Doubt he could keep up in todays NHL (full disclosure, ive never seen him play)

He had a great career in the KHL. But 33...unless he's really good he's probably going to have issues adjusting to the speed.
