No expectations this season or next.

I lost expectations with the hiring of he who shall not be named. It was the same when Keenan was hired the last time as well.

If Ward plays 70+ games then Carolina is going to have much more serious problems than Lack being a goofball
- Zogg

I think it will be split between the two. Ward has been missing in house competition for years now. Lack is a good addition and will push him.

Leftie and I picked apart Lack on a few occasions in the regular season and the playoffs and almost everyone was against the thought of trading him thinking he is better than Miller. I for one think Eddie is a great back up goalie. Thats about it.

I don't disagree about Lack, but I think Miller is approaching back up status himself, if he's not there already.

Yes I think you are right it is coming. I think that this might be Miller's last kick at the can to snag a 40 win season. He was well on his way before the injury last season, but that was last year and since he'll be playing behind a 'bit' of a different team this season...gone be interesting to see how it all plays out before TDL.

Brand new avatar.

I enjoyed listening to the Chicago shows. I have zero interest in John Mayer joining them.

I'm glad Lack is gone.
- Marwood

Same.

Miller gives this team a steady veteran presence. No brainer to have him as the workhorse starter.

I will be glad when Canucks stop paying 5-6 mil for goalies and use it on scoring or D

We have pretty well talked about everything all summer, does anyone see a waiver player that might be sent back or a team in cap trouble that the Canucks might target

Yes yes . I am not sure how they are doing but great for the 12 year olds . Williamsport PA is a great venue. Good luck to the little guys.

belcher I think had a good post listing some possible waiver pickups from a bunch of teams, just can't seem to find it,

There are still a few good forwards that are unsigned ufa's, too bad there arent any top 4 dmen available for cheap.

I want to post the emoticon shaking it's head 'no', but was wondering if you see something that makes you say this beyond his age or stats?

Not a big fan of Miller, he looked good at times. As long as he is healthy, he should be okay. Looks like he is very professional and meticulous in his preparation.

Just wish he wouldn't worry about the weather- humidity and rain in Vancouver

Grateful Dead. I saw them once at this little hole in the wall hotel/resort in the keys. Fu@king epic. Home made gumbo. At 18 it was quite the experience.
