Lack wasn't everything people made him out to be. MG screwed the pooch. We'd have Luongo still as the solid foundation for a playoff calibre team if he'd handled the goalchie situation at the tdl in 2012 before Canucks met the Kings in the playoffs.

Not many are expecting big surprises. maybe only one spots up for grabs among the forwards-expecting Sven to stick and JV is a long shot.

Just hoping JB can surprise and make a move to strengthen the defence (might have to wait til tdl if anything like that even happens).

Maybe, but I think as long as he doesn't get too silly it is publicity for a team that doesn't have much of a profile in the league.

I don't think he is too happy. We will see if he is mentally strong enough to keep on developing or if the trade kills his confidence.

A team like Carolina can use all the publicity they can get. Lack is a bit of a cartoon character, kids like cartoons, parents spend money on their kids. If I'm Carolina I'm telling Lack to keep it up.

If Ward plays 70+ games then Carolina is going to have much more serious problems than Lack being a goofball

Leftie and I picked apart Lack on a few occasions in the regular season and the playoffs and almost everyone was against the thought of trading him thinking he is better than Miller. I for one think Eddie is a great back up goalie. Thats about it.
