I was wondering about Petit? Don't know much/anything about him but he hasn't put up much, or is that because his role was so limited? Was wondering if part of the pick was just hoping some of the talent on the junior club would rub off on him?

Sounds like he is the definition of a "character" pick. Doesn't sound like a very physical player but good size and work ethic.

Fox is never going to be a Canuck. Guy was a man playing against boys hence why he didnt get drafted.

His numbers last year in the echl Were average for some who lit it up in the OHL.

I agree with the first part but what him and Blomstrand did last year in Kalamazoo was pretty impressive.

I think the stat was the first 2 players under 23 to score 30 or more.
Obviously for most teams if you are scoring 30 goals at that age the team might be calling you up to the AHL team.

It is a transition year. I don't think anyone has high expectations. It is hard to disappoint someone if they are not expecting anything.
