Just saw this on msn on Voynov...
http://www.msn.com/en-ca/...tion/ar-AAdVMRw?ocid=iehp
Left margin, above the article's author, Liam McGuire, it has "Punch Drunk Love"...
It would make it interesting if he was deported. What would it mean for his contract/cap-hit to the Kings?
(sorry, didn't realize Ek was already talking about this, don't usually read or look at what he is posting unless he is talking about speculation) |

It would give the Kings money and cap space to pay Mike Richards. |

Would his contract be voided? A smaller cap hit or none at all?
Great value on the ice... |

I'm not sure but I would think his contract would be voided, no cap hit. |

The dynamics are interesting... if Richards was convicted of an indictable offense, I wonder how that would impact his admissablity to the US. Really, how different are these cases? Except the Kings want to keep Voynov and cut Richards. |

It's a hockey forum in the summer. We're all of us saying the same things over and over, Nucker's simply taken a pessimistic viewpoint. And not, as far as I can tell, because he's inherently pessimistic, but because that's how he views the team.
Personally, I'm willing to wait and see and hope for the best, but I'm not going to lie, I find the "Everything is Awesome" crowd just as tiring as the Benningadon one. - CubanBuffet
Why is there such a divisive line in the sand? People are labeled as a Benning lover or Benning hater. Just because some are willing to play the wait and see what happens game, doesn't mean they endorse everything this management group does.
I've actually enjoyed some off the conversations going back and forth, there are a lot of objective, articulated thoughts being posted. |

Did the org already say no main camp invites for ufa's?
I want more competition for the core.
I'd like to see a dman and potential 4th line centre invited, if they impress it would make JB have to make a decision about moving someone or not.. |

personally, i think that nucker is just saying all this to keep the spotlight on himself. he's a diva who wants to be talked about.
i kid, i kid.
he's right and he's wrong. just like ALL of us.
it's the attitude that grinds my gears. but i'd rather have him here than have an echo chamber in this thread. - RealityChecker

I'm in the wait and see camp. But wasn't happy with the cost of some of the moves, but if they turn out to make the team better then the costs may be moot.
I think our top 6 is stronger if Sven fits in on the 2nd line. Goal tending is just about a wash. The defense still needs lots of work. Bottom 6 is grittier. Put it all together and what do you get? Just waiting to find out. |
