I think canucks will do good this year, that being said even if were in a playoff picture at TDL I hope benning gets rid of Vrbata for first, Hamhuis for first plus, and Higgins for whatever he can get, also let Prust go for whatever he can get.

Considering that he wasn't willing to move players on expiring contracts going into last season's playoffs, I doubt that he will do so this year.

I think either you hope for the playoffs and an entertaining season or a season where they struggle and look to move players for future assets.

Both won't happen IMO.

I think it'll balance out for a few reasons:

- Younger team getting more experienced
- Giordano for a full season(he's not injury-prone)
- Full season of Sam Bennett(always liked him better than Draisaitl/Reinhart)
- Additions of Frolik and Hamilton
- Gaudreau/Monahan/Hudler line will always have a "lucky" sh% imo


I expect them to be right in the 7-9 spots in the West.

Vey has a history of significantly improved sophomore years.

It will be interesting to see if this trend continues, and if he can push his way into the 2C conversation.
