Good for Sheppard. Being a Maritimer, I'll always pull for players from the Atlantic side of the country.

I'm really interested in the jackets season this year. I think they'll perform if they stay healthy.

My only question is: Are possible NHL defensemen so rare there are no players out there worthy of consideration for a look at camp this year?

Nobody seems to like any of the defensemen on the team except for Murray if he's healthy. I admit a lot of folks think we have adequate players but no #1 d-man or #1 pair and you won't get them from the waiver wire, but there is constant complaining about the bottom pairs too. There has to be somebody out there worthy of a tryout.
