Simmonds was very upfront about that in after game interview. Erskins turned down Simmonds went after a scorer who lets face it cant fight and went to his mates side. I don't blame him for it. Unlike when rinaldo took out letang and everybody just stood around.

Yah all I remember is flurry imploding against the flyers and every other team in the playoffs since. Except maybe last year. But he def gave up some weak ones. Severely weak ones

Well q the video. I see whoever that is tied up with l scheen and preventing him from getting up after dropping the gloves. I'm sure Simmons saw it too which is why he did what he did . Once schenn and Wilson starting going there was no way Simmonds was going to be kicked out of the game on a second fight misconduct with erskin lol. Once erskin went after vinny Simmonds went after erskin. Erskin ignored Simmonds and dropped the gloves with vinny. Simmonds tries to get to erskin while it's going on and vinny slugs erskin.
