Great win by Bills, with Dareus they have a legitimate chance against the Pats.
The offense still leaves something to be desired. You cannot keep using Sammy Watkins as a decoy. He has to get the ball. Same with McCoy.
The line, and play calling IMO was average today |

Tyrod and Manuel should never be mentioned in the same sentence ever again. Football iq is a big thing - turbo044

He was good, but he threw for under 200 yards. I want to see him let a few more loose. That is more on the play calling than Taylor |

If he throws for 200 and makes few mistakes ala russel wilsom im happy. But the run game has to be top notch. |

Things I learned today watching the Bills game:
- D-Line is for real, even without Dareus
- Darby can play
- linebackers can play, but worried about injuries there
- offense has a ton of talent at the skill positions
- Clay can be a beast going forward, should become one of TT's go to guys
- shady isn't 100%, if he is we are in trouble going up the middle with him
- Carlos Williams is a hell of a back and a very nice change of pace to Shady
- Percy hassome speed, let's hope he stays healthy, as he is a great 2nd option outside if D's focus on taking away Watkins
- TT can play, no boneheaded , head-scratching decisions. I thought his accuracy was pretty good especially in game one with limited time in preseason with the 1sts...hopefully the timing gets better.
I think they have a decent shot with The Cheaters next week. Lot's of talent to cover out there and Pittsburgh had their fair number of chances...just blew some of them.
The key, as usual is finding a way to limit Gronk .... Get to Brady often and hit him hard...make the little biatch cry like the baby he is!

Like Manuel in the first two games last year, Taylor was okay. He didn't need to be spectacular, but he will at some point this year.
I said last week that I wasn't worried about Darby. During the preseason, he was left on an island (on purpose) with no safety help and a vanilla pass rush. Turn both of those up, and you see the Darby the Bills want. |

With our defense, I don't think he will have to be spectacular.
But they can't do this anymore with Watkins. It's gonna come back and bite them. |

Yup, I just hope Darby continues to grow and play well...that will go a long way towards the D achieving its' goal this season.
Can't wait to see Dareus back next week.
As far as TT goes, I agree he was ok, but I'll take that for the next several games...he just needs to play within himself and get the ball,to his playmakers .... They are loaded with them |

Every team needs it's quarterback to be spectacular at one point or another. He is going to have to win them a few games. Ultimately, that is what cost Manuel his job. |

What cost Manuel his job was the fact that he was the only QB this coach didn't bring in. Not that I want him starting, but he was 3rd coming in.

I was talking about last year. Not that Orton did that either, but it's what cost the Bills the playoffs. They didn't have a quarterback that could go out and win them a game. |

I think Taylor has the ability to have spectacular moments, but I don't think he's going to go toe to toe with Tom Brady and put up 5 TD's.

I disagree a bit.
What cost Manuel his job was a) his inaccuracy, b) his inconsistency.
I have hope he will continue to develop and don't want to give up on him yet as I did see improvement later on in preseason/camp. Hopefully David Lee can push him forward.
Taylor just needs to manage the game and distribute the ball to his playmakers
-Watkins
-Woods
-Harvin
- McCoy
-Clay
He doesn't need to be spectacular IMO |

Tyrod was okay? 14-19, 123 qb rating, no turnovers is okay? Almost 10 yards per pass attempt (vs luck's 4.5ish) is okay. Plus be had a couple of big plays called back due to penalties and ran for 40+ yards. I think I'll come back here when we start talking Hockey because a few posters here don't seem to understand football and/or have an EJ man crush

Didnt know Tyrod played defense and went against Brady? A lot more factors in a football game than qb vs qb. You happen to see NE's run defense or secondary Thursday? Guessing not. |
