The blue jays make the playoffs and they act like a bunch of tools. Champagne and Cigars? They haven't won a dam thing yet.

Pitlick is the only interesting one there. Good 4th line energy forward and a great name.

Everyone was on the Subban wagon yesterday. I was wondering what everyones problem is? Yeah he has skills but I don't think the size is there. 5'9" (thats being generous)is not big enough for a regular NHL Defenceman. Great skills but..

If Sami Vatanen can play with the Ducks at 5'10 with a smaller build than Subban, Subban should be given the opportunity to at least play in exhibition games. Vatanen is killer on the powerplay.

That's pretty common in baseball. Especially for teams that don't make the playoffs every year. It's stupid but they're not the first or he last who will do it.

I thought Edler look horrible out there last night. McCann surprised with how well he saw the ice last night and his speed.

I called it right away when I saw that pairing listed(Edler-Biega). You know what they say about broken clocks, blind squirrels, etc. I got lucky with that call.

WD said that Hutton is forcing them to take a good hard look at him. TL and JB went to WD and said this kid could be top 4

Stop trying to critique the veterans during the pre-season...they're not in mid season form and won't be until at least mid November.

Edler is still a good defenseman, probably our best! His offensive game didn't develop like I'd have hoped but he still logs a ton of minutes against the other teams best players and did really well last year. Lead the team in minutes per game.

Vatanen is a great example that Subban still has a chance, but is likely still a few years away.

Why is the fan base so upset that a guy pegged for the AHL for at least the next year, like 2-3 years, didn't play an exhibition game??? He isn't going to be called up this year, some others might be. They are more deserving.

Whether we like it or not, Edler is definitely our best defenceman. He makes mistakes, but has the most well rounded game of any of them. Does nothing exceptionally, but does a little bit of everything pretty well.

I will say this with no mal intent. When you have a top 6 pairing with the likes of Weber Sbisa and COrrado , the fan base gets excited at any sign that we may eventually get an NHL caliber DMan
