Career AHL player, call up guy at best. Just doesn't have the hands.

Holy (frank), what is wrong with Jordon mathews. Just had like his 20th drop of the season. And an easy one. Probably an untouched 75 yd tD

I think it's down to Virtanen, McCann or the dark horse Ben Hutton for the last roster spot.

I have a poll to that effect in today's new blog:

He's a lot better than our fans give him credit for. The problem is everyone expects him to be something he's not and focus on him because we've got nothing else as good as him.

Because most other teams have a true #1 or #2 isn't his fault. He a very good top four guys who eats up a lot of minutes...as I said. With a true top pairing his minutes would come down along with his fatigue and his mistakes would probably reduce as a result.

Despite how boring things have been here I'm not trying to start a fight ( MARWOOD! )

You are right... It's not his fault; however, being in that role does not help the team nor does it help him. We all know this-- We need a some studs on the blue line.

It's kinda the same thing for me with Bieksa. Heart and Soul guy, but not a true top 4.
