Hutton best Canuck first period
Canucks stacked team didn't look too much better than Flames AHL team - VANTEL
The Sedins look good, but it's just them doing their thing. Burrows has had some jump tonight and Edler has played pretty well. After them it's probably Horvat, Hutton and Guance. |

I think the Canucks controlled most of the play. I fully expect them to win barring a great goaltending performance from CGY's goalie. |

What's the story on Riley last night? The punch that put him down looked fairly innocuous. |

Thanks Marwood - it was a bit of a freak accident. She was riding her horse through a narrow path in the woods when the horses head caught a green limb of a tree, he pushed it forward with his head and then dipped his head...the tree branch snapped back so fast she couldn't grab it and it struck her directly in the left eye. It actually split her eyeball, she lost her sight immediately.
As a parent it's pretty heart-wrenching to see someone you love so much in that kind of physical and emotional distress. Right now the experts are focused on saving her eye, as in keeping it in her head, another surgery in Vancouver early next week. Never say never, but her chances of ever seeing again out of that eye are pretty slim.
I didn't watch the game the other night but hopefully I'll be able to see this one as I'm taking a break from the hospital. - LeftCoaster
Oh wow dude - that truly sucks. Sending out positive vibes and prayers.
