Umberger is going to be a pool boy either next year or the one after. Nobody is signing him after the Flyers are done with the sloppy seconds.

I dont give a rats ass if Umberger plays the right way. He wont be around when the team is on a true up swing. I hope he has a good bounce back year and all but I'd rather give his minutes to bSchenn, Laughton or Cousins.

I am happy all the kids went down. Perhaps not because I think they cant contriute in the NHL, but I dont want them in this environment. There is still far too much suckage on the big team. Put them in an environment where they have a better chance at winning.

I don't think this team or last year's team suck as much as you think. I think last year they quit on themselves and the coach. Chief didn't know how to get the best out of them. I clearly don't think this is a cup team, but playoff yes. My hope is with a new coach they get their heads and hearts in the right place and learn to fight for it every night.

What they are holding against B Schenn could be said for everyone on this team last year as a group they took nIghts off which they can't do anymore.
