I like it heated like brandy or grand marnier.

I have to admit, I'm crossing my fingers that Hartley and Torts meet up again at the World Cup of Hockey.

He'd probably be more likely to get the Young Guns assignment than Team Canada—but he is the reigning Jack Adams winner. He could legitimately be there.

So the wife and I are expecting our first child and have decided we don't really want to raise it in the city. We can relocate basically anywhere. Any suggestions?

It depends on what your hobbies are and what kind of weather you like.

Edit: honestly though, it looks beautiful up there and our little shoebox condo would buy a whole lot of square footage in your part of the world. We just need to find work.

Outdoorsy. I love to ski but don't like Whistler, for skiing anyways. As far as weather, I'm a bit of a chameleon, I tend to just adjust to wherever I am. I grew up in the interior - hot dry summers, cold snowy winters and liked it but I've gotten used to Vancouver's wet mild winters as well. My wife grew up in the lower mainland, so this is all she knows.

I think we've lost our taste for the lower mainland.

We're leaning towards the Okanagan - love wine, plus it's roughly half way between both groups of in laws, close but not too close - but we're open to anywhere.

i can vouch for this.
born in Smithers.
pretty far drive to the lower mainland, but a nice drive.
flights were chill and pretty epic flying over the coast mountains.
winter's aren't as cold as they used to be, but you can teach your kid to skate outdoors.
