I don't think he has the vision/hockey sense they have at all. - Nucker101
Maybe a little less. But its way closer the Krieder. As I said. I find a comparable tough.
I see a 60-70 point guy. Who can be largely undisipline at times. Isn't a fastatastic 1 way player and plays with a snarl |

They should expose Sbisa to waivers as you say - VANTEL
They should expose weber to oncoming traffic. |

I didn't say it was a bad move..... I said if it doesn't work out its fair to begrudge him because of that. It was a good risk to take, as was Baertschi and Sutter and markstrom over Lack and Clendening etc. But some of those moves need to turn out for him to show his rep as a talent evaluator is correct.
It's all good man,

Right on.
Canucks fans were gagging for change and an injection of youth.
both have been provided by JB.
JB also noted that he would make space for rookies if they earn it.
Although it's still early in the pre-season, you have to wonder if Vey or Kennins are bumped in favour of Gaunce and McCann at this stage.
My question is, are Vey and Kennins waiver-eligible?? Do you put them in the pressbox for 9 games and see how the Rookies pan out?? |

Jays aren't gonna win it though. I mean historically speaking rhey aren't a great team. 10 wins all seaon in games they scored less then 5 runs. |

I could see Kenins going back downs. So far I see the offense as
Sedin Sedin Burrow
Gaunce Horvat Vrbata
JV Sutter Hansen
Prust ? Dorsett
Vey Sven McCann |

I think also being afraid to lose weber or Sbisa on waivers is nuts too. If someone takes them it is a pretty bold statement about how bad their D is |

I like Kennins, he was my dark horse pick to make the team last year before the season started. I think he can replace Hansen in the very near future (I'd try and get a pick for Hansen). I think Gaunce is also a good Higgins replacement at LW, who can also fill in at C in a pinch. Vrbata will hopefully be flipped for a pick (conditional 1st/2nd) would be ideal. Hamhuis to a contender for a 1st/2nd (conditional as well if need be - and I'd consider signing him again next season as a UFA).
As much as I'd love to see JV and JM on the team, I think the best scenario for them is to go back to the CHL and play one more year, and then join the Canucks next season. There will likely be a lot of new faces full time this season, too much at once won't make for a successful year. |

I use to hate the thought of moving Hansen , but the Kids make me feel a lot better about such a move. |

I like the guys speed and forechecking . I have been a fan but his finish is sad.
Now he could be replaced without giving up the speed in his replacement |
