You honestly believe Pedan didn't play better than Sbisa Weber COrrado?

I don't think he played better than them, no. Too slow and too much water skiing behind players that he is a step behind. He looked big and handled himself physically but I didnt see him out play them with the puck or defensive play to be honest.

You can't base it solely off training camp. You still look at there recent body of work. Corrado was day and night better then pedan last yr

I see McCann and Virtanen getting sent down but I see Gaunce making it. This team is not going anywhere this year so I see Benning being patient with the prospects and letting them marinate. Even though Baertchi and Vey have been less then impressive I think Benning will stick with them because of their age and potential.
This team needs real blue chip defensive prospects. Hutton looks great but there is a glaring hole on the back end this year and in the prospect pool.
I'm looking forward to Markstrom. He looks solid and could have a chance for the #1 when Miller is gone. |
