I noticed that Blair Riley was completely erased from the NHL stat sheet from Friday night's game, which means officially, Brandon Prust got five minutes for fighting...nobody on the other side.

Riley got sent down to the AHL today after properly getting into the lineup last night. He has some kind words for Prust about the etiquette of their fight:

I'm actually horrible at saving money..especially since I've had a girlfriend

I see McCann and Virtanen getting sent down but I see Gaunce making it. This team is not going anywhere this year so I see Benning being patient with the prospects and letting them marinate. Even though Baertchi and Vey have been less then impressive I think Benning will stick with them because of their age and potential.

This team needs real blue chip defensive prospects. Hutton looks great but there is a glaring hole on the back end this year and in the prospect pool.

I'm looking forward to Markstrom. He looks solid and could have a chance for the #1 when Miller is gone.
