yeah Iggy will be getting major PP time still. Still one of our only Top 9 Right Hand shot forwards besides MacKinnon and Comeau. Rantanen as well if he makes the team.

Cant see Comeau taking that role, so he will be still being loaded up at the right side bc of his shot

Hes looking promising, doesn't look too lout of place playing against nhl level talent. Been playing in a Bottom 6 role, however last game didn't do him any favours playing with 2 really bad players on the 4th line. Still had a decent game regardless. He doesn't have an ELC signed yet so he won't be making the team, Roy seemed like he was going back to play Mem Cup no matter what.

But they seem pretty happy with his development this year

I can't decide if I want Rantanen to make this team...

I think I got used to drafting high and automatically assume they'll make the team right off the bat. I have to clear my head and remember that's still not the norm. I'll hope the core of this team is ready to rumble and we won't be in that lottery!

Initially I wanted him to spend the year developing in the AHL, but the way he is looking ready and feels like Dutch is missing some talent to play with. I like the idea of him up this year especially if hes looking ready, not rushed.

The Winchester situation, and Everberg/Skille minor injuries seems like there would be a lack of depth opening night. Keep Rantanen to see what he can do until Berg/Skille (if signed) are healthy.

McLeod/Glencross - Mitchell/Hishon - Skille/Everberg.

I love Berg but I would rather have him and Hish down in the AHL to start with and try and sign both Skille and Glencross to contracts so at least there is proper depth is in place in case of injuries, they get the calls up vs guys like Bordy and Cliche. Need to really push those guys deep down the chart
