I still think JV would work well with the sedins. historically it has always taken a player a few games with them to get used to the routine. JV has great physicality to get them the puck in the corners and a great shot when he gets that unexpected pass.

He sucks in the cycle game and his positioning all over the ice needs a lot of work. Guys with the Sedins that have thrived are usually very smart and/or good in the cycle.

Maybe. To me the one constant trait with all their successful linemates is hockey sense. I'm still not sure if Virtanen has that in abundance, which in no way means he won't be a player.

I thought it was interesting that he volunteered that they want to play the fourth line center on PP2, whether it's Vey or "whoever might end up playing there." That's not exactly an Adam Cracknell endorsement...
