I believe JB too. I think they are still figuring out, but I do think there will be significant change coming - VANTEL
I'm not holding my breath, I think some people are going to be upset after the 9th game. Too many vets and I'm not sure if Benning will trade/waive more than 1.
Hope I'm wrong though. McCann, Gaunce, Hutton, and JV have all shown NHL ability at times(some more than others0. |

That was great. I felt like he asked everything we want to know. And I believe Benning - they're still evaluating. Can't really give any definite answers right now.
I thought it was interesting that he volunteered that they want to play the fourth line center on PP2, whether it's Vey or "whoever might end up playing there." That's not exactly an Adam Cracknell endorsement...
I liked Murph's interview with the very intense Jared McCann as well. - Carol Schram
Really? I thought the Mccan interview was strange and awkward. Do you feel honored to be here? Do you feel like you belong?
This isn't some scrub from the ECHL or a 10 year old kid getting to skate on the ice during the second intermission it's a blue chip prospect.
How about, what is the key to making he team? Do you feel you could be effective in a 4th line/ defensive role? |

Tough goal, but horrible defensive coverage, Burns left all alone. |

Who really cares about player interviews, 99% of their answer are cliche's. It's the GM that really matters at this time of the year, glad someone finally asked him some decent questions besides the fans at the town hall meetings. |

How does Burns get that open? Someone blew their defensive coverage...that was Oiler-like |

Yeah, even if he doesn't I'm sure the coaching staff will count that as one. What a snipe by McCann though. - Nucker101

I was more interested in McCann's responses—how he was nodding and really focused on what Murph was saying.
I feel like that speaks to his focus on the ice as much as it does to his abilities when he has a microphone stuck in his face.
And I thought he played it well. Was respectful but determined. I like seeing a kid who looks like he wants to go the distance and doesn't just buy into the "happy to be here" rhetoric.

I'd get rid of Prust before Higgins.
Or just dress him against ANA/WPG/LA - Nucker101
Prust is tailor made to get traded at the TDL. Contenders are always looking for more grit. And additional depth on D! |

Biega is flying out there..why the hell didn't Benning just have him as his "Sbisa'? A physical guy who can skate but isn't a true shutdown dman or a puck mover. He's gonna have some bad games just like Sbisa, but is so much cheaper and probably better at clearing the front of the net. |

I think Horvat/Gaunce/Burrows are the only on the 3 that are actually capable of that. |
