Edler's Slapshot is BRUTAL.

The guy has probably the biggest windup in the league which takes a full second to come through to the puck that any defender has more than enough time to get in front of it.

Duncan Kieth doesn't even do a slapshot he just has a quick snapper and it always works.

With all the hype of Vey over the summer and him saying he was ready to rip it up I was hoping for so much better. Obviously he isn't capable.

Send him down and keep those who deserve it. Maybe next time he will deserve it. Although if indeed we do get lucic someone will be in the way....Vey isnt realistic here. I just don't see him with the team for any length of time

Ya, I don't disagree. His game has serious warts. He's also probably our best all around defenceman, which says a lot about the Canucks defence but isn't likely to change any time soon.
