Vey and Corrado look like career AHLers at this point, there's no excuse for being veterans and getting outplayed by 3 rookies who nobody gave much of a realistic chance at making the opening night roster.

This should quieten the noise from the Benning-Willie complainers. Benning followed through and Willie won't protect Vey at all cost. I also like that Benning won't hold onto someone just because he went out and got him. Not working, time to move on.

I think he was the same draft as Virtanen. He played about 15 games last year before being returned to Junior, so he's already used up the first year of his ELC.
