Vey and Corrado look like career AHLers at this point, there's no excuse for being veterans and getting outplayed by 3 rookies who nobody gave much of a realistic chance at making the opening night roster.

Again, as opposed to JV, McCann, Hutton who had none, they are. Like I said, no excuse to be outplayed when you've got the edge in experience and have a spot in the lineup pencilled in. Fringe NHLers/Career AHLers at best and even if not, not on our team.

If the Canucks lose Corrado, that's a big mistake by management. Why not wait for an injury to bring up Hutton?

I am not sure if it is a big mistake, but it certainly is a gamble.

No matter what management does, it is wrong in someones eyes. It looks like the management group said they would make room for prospects who earn spots. They did.

I hope the org doesn't lose Corrado or Vey but if they do, it really goes to show that spots are up for grabs and if prospects earn a spot outright, they will stay with the club.

Line 3 and Line 4 are basically interchangeable IMO. Call it 3A and 3B if you want (or 4A and 4B if you're a negative nancy)
