I would be disappointed if they didn't bother. Every once in a while one of us has a good idea.
Plus, it's a good gauge of the fan base. If I were TL I would have my social media team pouring through these things and bringing me interesting sound bites. - 1970vintage
To be honest I think they are way too arrogant to even consider a moment’s thought to our ramblings. Purely a marketing opportunity. Direct marketing to a captive audience.

Maybe, but I think any business should listen intently to their customers, even if it's covertly. Crowd sourcing is a huge part of what many organizations do now, you see it with the Canucks and their pictures of people in China with jersey's on and what not.
I'm not suggesting that WD should take our line combinations to heart, because he *should* have a much better grasp on who clicks with who, but if 99% of the fan base thinks that Sbisa is a terrible defenseman, and would be fine with the team cutting ties in any way possible, and they provide good evidence, it might be something they want to consider.

Plus, how do you know, do you have "sources"? - 1970vintage
Deductive reasoning my dear Watson.
He's probably a 7 year old? It was a long and complicated song. I'm assuming he doesn't have access to the lyrics. Even if he did, hard to believe his reading level would be able to comprehend the verses and tempo.
He would have had to listen to it many times. And then repeat it many times to get it right. Meaning he was coached. Coached a lot. He got so good at it someone recorded it and posted it to the web. Would his mother or sister do that? Would his brother spend that much time engaged with his younger brother? Uncle? Buddy? My bets are on Dad.
There are lots of ways to spent time with your kids. It's hilarious but that took a lot of time and energy to get the kid to that point where he can rip that song off without skipping a beat.

Wonder what could explain the "dedication". - bloatedmosquito
LOL
I was talking about the team reading our degenerated ramblings, not the abused child and his song...
It surprises me really how many of us old guys know how to use a computer, and are willing to waste hours on end talking hockey with *mostly* complete strangers.

For years people watched soap operas and would discuss with their friends, is this really that much different except the anominity
