We were beaten by Bishop not the lightning. Great game by the Sabres even though we lost an Reinhart looked awesome! I'm happy.

Very good effort outplayed tb tonight. Stupid and very questionable late penalty cost them. Also, in the last 100 seconds, McCabe played the first 85 seconds and eichel didn't get on the ice to 15 secs left. Explain that, I can't. Good to see the kids play well, especially reinhart. When Kane decides to score, they get Gionta off the 2nd line and Weber is replaced by Bogo, we'll win some games. Btw, wouldn't girgs be the perfect winger on the eichel/Kane line? I don't care if he's a natural center, he can play wing. Seems obvious to me. Btw, O'Reilly has to finish that play with 4 mins left, simple as that.

Who knows, maybe we luck out in the draft lottery? We also have a couple of assets to trade at the deadline. I'm not writing off this year, just being realistic.

Having Bogosian I think would be a big difference. Other than that the only difference in these games is finishing. The shots, possession and chances are all there.

Agreed, it's just the way rebuilds go. Only so much you can speed up. Draft pick itself could be an asset as well.
