Why isnt he waiving the Flames colors around anymore? That bandwagon is getting empty pretty quick. |

Kinda makes me shake my head that both Fosco and Nucker have bailed on the team because management's made decisions they don't agree with. I remember 2 years ago Nucker was literally campaigning for Benning (or was it Futa) to be hired. Well, now he's hired, does a fairly decent job of altering the stagnation that the team was in at the time of his hire and he's irate because Benning isn't doing things his way, as if he were an actual NHL GM that has all the info Benning does at the time he made his deals and things. - DariusKnight
He is a young kid that hasn't even played the game but somehow believes he knows more that Benning and Linden...he has some maturing to do. Head over to HF though, they are 100% worse than Nucker. People are still incensed we "wasted" a 5th round pick on Stewart! It's both hilarious and tragic |

Yeah, I've been there, and on CDC, they sound like a lot of the fans who call into 1040 and who don't understand that after the first 2 rounds, every pick is essentially to stock your AHL team. You hope to find gems who can be regular NHLers, but you don't expect it and you don't bet on it. Taking risks in Rounds 3-7 is not a bad thing. |

He's reading this too and trying to make up for it in other threads. I see you nucker stop lurking. |

Given that the Canucks saved so much money on the Tortorella being picked up by the Blue Jackets, the Canucks should have a free tortellini night when the Blue Jackets come to town. It would be a nice good will gesture. |

If I had a nickle every time I tuned into 1040 and a caller wants to know why we havent found late round gems like Detroit has.... |

It's hard to determine what they've bailed on. Obviously the forum, but they were both criticizing JB in EK's blog.
There is definitely some discontent with the team. Their comments are always welcome but expect to have counter arguments, and if you post in a trollish way (Sbisa), people will retaliate.
I personally liked both guys, but if it was Surrey-Oilers or nocups, posting like Nucker was (again Sbisa), I'd have a couple dozen PM's asking to step in.
Wish they would return, they always offered good discussion, pre-Benning |

its just a forum and pretty sad they would take it to that level to just bail on it.
The first 3 game losing streak they'll be in here beating their hairless chests again......(frank)in emo's...... |

Fosco I don't know about, but the fact that Nucker is still bouncing around out there commenting on the team means he's probably still a fan, which obviously you can still be while disagreeing with the direction the team is going. I think Nuckers problem is that most here disagree with him, so instead of just talking hockey he has to defend almost every post against multiple people. I can see that getting old. |

Yup, that's why it's better here. For the most part posters are older and more knowledgeable. If you haven't been around long enough to understand the cycles of a professional sports team you likely won't be very patient...and lower yourself to constantly whining about trivial matters |

I thought Fosco left, because he was embarrassed for cheating in the hockey pool. |

Hopefully they will be back. Some people where being pretty big peckers to them. You can pick them out by the fact that even though they haven't posted here in weeks they are still getting ragged on for expressing their opinions.
Opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one.
It gets heated in hear sometimes. You have to remember that even if you disagree you don't have to respond.
I disagree with both of them but I don't hate them like some on here do. I save my hatred for Vantel |
