I actually found Fosco quite sound and rational...sad to see him gone, Nucker on the other hand.....good riddance.....

Fosco's Edler lovefest got old after a while, Nucker's an advanced stats lover, which is fine if you understand that the advanced stats we have aren't totally representative of actual on-ice play and that hockey isn't quite as easy to track like in baseball where plays develop slowly, it's 1v1/Pitcher vs Batter and very little randomness affects the game.

Hopefully they will be back. Some people where being pretty big peckers to them. You can pick them out by the fact that even though they haven't posted here in weeks they are still getting ragged on for expressing their opinions.
Opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one.
It gets heated in hear sometimes. You have to remember that even if you disagree you don't have to respond.

Who really hates anyone on the internet?

It is the constant trolling that I don't care for. The only way this site gets hits is if people disagree and it is a somewhat respectful discussion.

What I found the most annoying was the factual observations of stuff like we lost the Sutter trade... give me a break.

All of a sudden common opinions become facts.

I think it's the forum they've bailed on, not the team.

Why is that? No one chased him out of here. We started asking why he stopped showing up after the 1st game and then we hear he's still peddling the same smack but on other threads.

The longer he dodged us but kept posting elsewhere... the more people speculate he doesn't want to face us until the team is in trouble. Nothing happened to have him bail on us... go back to the threads on and after game 1 to see for yourself... there was nothing going on to suggest he was getting ragged on... the questions started popping up "where's nucker now?" ... but he was already dodging us.

They'll be back. They always come back.

Fosco I don't know about, but the fact that Nucker is still bouncing around out there commenting on the team means he's probably still a fan, which obviously you can still be while disagreeing with the direction the team is going. I think Nuckers problem is that most here disagree with him, so instead of just talking hockey he has to defend almost every post against multiple people. I can see that getting old.

This forum took a hit when Fosco left. He was very up to date and knowledgeable on whats happening with prospects.

I was away from the forum for a couple of months when he left. I'm not completely filled in on the drama if there was any...
