Terrible job by Willie, the Sedins abused our top line for 2 periods how does he allow Trotz to match his shutdown line on them the entire 3rd period? |

Any word on the Corrado saga out of Toronto? - Marwood
Still not circumvention.
I'll let you know if that changes. |

Him and his crew asl, bieksa 3 and brown noser Cuban think they'll chase me out of this forum with their animosity, but you're right it's grade school stuff.
I probably shouldn't respond to their crap frankly speaking.
I'm sure more people would post here if the conversation were more elevated. Don't really see that kind of ignorance in the hawks thread where I was posting quite a bit over the summer or in the habs thread from what I've seen. - kaptaan
Please stop including me in this so called cabal, I told you in the past I would stop responding to your posts if you stopped responding to mine and all has been good, but you keep referring to me in these posts so please just stop it, simple. I have no problem with anyone here and if I did I would just leave for a day, again simple. |

I'd hardly call the fact that Vrbata needs to play with the Sedins to get going 'good news'. |

Hutton getting points depends on much more than him. Our PP needs to get going and some scoring would be nice from his team mates while he's out there.
I don't see the coach pulling him out of the line up any time soon thats for sure. He blows Weber away defensively.... coaches love that.
This brings up something interesting though... Weber may be small and soft etc but I do think he is missed on the PP. That is a sacrifice worth mentioning I think. - boonerbuck
To be quite honest with his PP prowess late last year I thought he was in the lineup for good. I like Bartkowski a lot and his ability to skate the puck out of trouble and such but it's becoming clear he has defensive issues to work on. A press box stint for him won't kill us. And I do agree on Hutton he does need to be surrounded with the right talent to be putting up numbers but I have a feeling (like Horvat last year) he will be able to get some numbers up on his own. We'll see. |

The way the Sedins glowed about having that right handed shot on the pp at the end of season media presser sounded like it was his to lose.
Hutton has thrown everything out of whack.

He has...and Bartkowski played his way on and earned a spot full marks to both. But it's time generate some O on the PP. Bartkowski or Sbisa need a few games in the press box to see if Weber can catch fire. |

Sbisa has slowly been playing better. He needs to stay in to keep improving. Barkowski has been pretty underwhelming. Hasn't done anything to lose his spot, but hasn't done anything to keep it either.
Give Weber a shot. A PP goal is the difference between winning and losing most nights. |

Yup, Weber deserves a shot. I do like that Bart can skate the puck out of the zone, he is still an adventure when trying to defend.
Weber was no good in the playoffs last year but there was a good stretch where him and Hamhuis were pretty good, would like to see them get a chance to repeat. |

Not an easy decision to make, but Hutton is staying in, so one of Bart or Sbisa are out, and they are both JB's guys... as you said, it will likely be Bartkowski to sit first.
we need scoring. |

The most amazing thing last night was, that I didn't actually notice Sbisa until the third period
P.S. the McAnn toe drag and shot was, indeed sick |

I've noticed that Bartowski's pass decisions are a often suspect... not that Weber doesnt suffer the same or worse but the PP. It's becoming an issue.

It will be good to see Weber on the pp Saturday night.
Can't we just talk about how wonderful Hutton is playing? It looks like he is under pressure in the corner, changes direction and skates the other way, like there wasn't any pressure to begin with... and the tape to tape passes...
on 1040 website, here is the poll question: If you were running the Canucks, would you be willing to sacrifice wins for player development?
Why can't you have it both ways? I was wondering if we sacrificed Bo's development last season for wins and a playoff berth? |
