$ for $ he was about as good as Edler compared to what they make.
But WD will probably attribute this game to rust and give weber another shot

- I-own_da-Northwest

Edler was 50/50 last night but I hear you...the only thing Edler really has on Weber is size. Which he doesn't use very often anymore.

But Edler did show some confidence with the puck last night where as Weber was all over the bloody place.

Wow the mighty Pacific Division looks sad when compared to the Central now….that didn't take long.

What was with the Sedins at three on three? They've looked good earlier in the season but last night was hard to watch. Just one of those games? Too much ice earlier in the game?

Just the law of averages. If they don't have possession 3/3 we are in trouble and that has shown all year so far. They are slowing down as other clubs get faster...it's just life. Did you see how fast Larkin looked out there last night?

Sedins just can't contend with that kind of speed.

The Sedins looked tired in that previous ot loss too. If they lose possession deep in the ozone, it may as well be game over because they can't get back quick enough.

Sedin, Sedin and Edler... no wheels.

Jason Brough @JasonPHT .
RT @KKurzCSN: Attendance tonight 15,814. Lowest in several years, for sure #SJSharks

True. When I saw Sedin Sedin Edler out there to start it was yipes...

Gotta break that up. Sutter or McCann in there with some speed and finish.

They announced yesterday during the game that one of the trains to the Arena broke down and that was responsible for most of the empty seats...disclaimer?

The twins are great when they have the puck, but they can't get it back when they don't….that's why you need speed with so much room out there.

True, skytrain, expo line was down, wonder what the paid attendance was?

I'm sorry, never read the previous 7 or so pages.

First 2 periods the Canucks played great and then they didn't show up for the 3rd.

I'm not down on Willie just yet. Yes there are some head scratchers but he does have an excellent record bringing youth along. I watched him take The Med.Hat. Tigers to two Memorial cup championships in less than 5 years and the Texas Stars championship was no slouch. He knows how to win just needs the personnel. If the home woes continue look for Benning to make a move to get Willie a few more needs.

We have alot of gaps/needs on the team to fill and it's starting to show. See where we are at American Thanksgiving that will tell us alot.

I thought the team was supposed to be a bit more physical/gritty this season.

I want to rag on Sbisa, but he has been playing a little better, just hasn't been hitting or they aren't registering... Sutter, no hits, Burrows neither...

When the Wings scored on that screened shot, guess it was by Tatar, Miller never had a chance, there was not battle from the team in the 3rd.

Miller was screened...but also out of position a bit. Tanev also has to make an effort to actually get IN FRONT of the shot as well. Not just go down on one knee and look away. He had miles of time to get in front of the shot.

But still you are correct. We got caught coasting in the third...again.

Eddie Lack 2nd last in the NHL with a .833 Sv% - I'm so glad we got rid of that POS before Benning gave him a contract.

I like Eddie but he is a career back up. Doubt that's going to change.
